Benjamin Stogner

Benjamin Stogner is a music educator, vocalist, and choral director with a passion for helping students and singers discover their potential through music. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Liberty University, as well as a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of South Carolina.

Ben has more than seven years of experience teaching voice and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music at Liberty University, where he teaches applied voice. His teaching philosophy combines strong vocal technique with musical expression, confidence, and a genuine love for music. He especially enjoys helping students develop both their individual voices and their overall musicianship.

In addition to teaching, Ben serves as a choral director and artistic leader. He was the Artistic Director of the Palmetto Mastersingers, a men's chorus based in Columbia, South Carolina. He also founded and directed the Rutherford County Community Choir, a SATB community ensemble that brings singers from throughout the area together to grow musically and build community through choral music.

Ben is passionate about creating an encouraging environment where students of all ages and experience levels can grow as musicians, develop confidence, and discover the joy of making music.
