Colton Morris

Dr. Colton Morris is a percussionist from Cookeville, Tennessee. He previously taught at Tennessee Tech University and Stevens Street School of Performing Arts. Before that, he formerly taught in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has performed with the Holland Symphony Orchestra. In the Washington DC area, he has worked with the Arlington Philharmonic, DC Concert Orchestra, Great Noise Ensemble and as assistant music director at Centreville Baptist Church in Virginia. He also holds degrees from George Mason University and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. When not joyfully inspiring and teaching young students, Dr. Morris loves exploring the outdoors and is an unashamed bookworm--you'll always find him reading!
