Karissa Juhas

Karissa Juhas is a pianist and educator who loves the Lord, people, and music. She specializes in both classical and Christian contemporary music. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music with a focus in Songwriting from Liberty University and is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Music Education with a focus in Performance. As a graduate student assistant, Karissa has taught university-level private piano lessons and group piano classes. She has also served as the accompanist for multiple university ensembles, including chamber singers and chorale. Her classical achievements include winning the Steinway Society of Riverside County Study Award and Liberty University’s Concerto and Aria Competition. Some of her experience in Christian contemporary music includes working as the Worship Ministry Coordinator at Heritage Baptist Church and writing and releasing her own original songs.

Karissa began teaching private piano lessons in 2016 and has worked with students of all ages. She loves working with people and is so excited to come alongside those who wish to enjoy God’s beautiful gift of music firsthand.
