Lainey Parker
Voice, Piano

Lainey Parker, soprano, is a native of North Carolina and an active contributor to the arts across the greater Virginia region. A versatile artist with experience as a vocalist, pianist, educator, performer, and arts administrator, she holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (2023) and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance (2025), both from Liberty University.
Lainey has performed notable roles with the Liberty University Opera program in productions including Le Nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte, Die Fledermaus, and Don Giovanni. In 2024, she made her professional operatic debut with Opera on the James in their production of Suor Angelica. Lainey’s past performance opportunities also include venues in Japan, as well as training in Italy with Premier Operatic Vocal Arts Institute.
In the 2025–2026 season, she joins the Seven Hills Chorus in Lynchburg and returns for her second season as a contracted Young Artist with Opera Roanoke.
Passionate about both performance and pedagogy, Lainey is committed to fostering a love of music in her students by emphasizing technical excellence, vocal health, and expressive artistry. She views music as a gift and finds great joy in sharing it with others.
