Silas Lewis

Silas Lewis is a versatile musician from West Virginia. Starting at age 8, he explored a wide range of instruments, including violin, viola, mandolin, bass, and guitar, which allowed him to develop a deep understanding of various musical styles. Throughout his college years, Silas directed his focus toward guitar. During this time, he had the opportunity to study and experiment with multiple genres, including jazz, worship, rock, country, and more, which helped him build a diverse skill set. Silas has performed throughout Virginia and West Virginia as a supporting musician and band leader. Beyond his personal achievements, Silas has always had a strong passion for teaching. He is committed to mentoring the next generation of musicians, sharing his love for music with students of all ages. Silas believes that music education is about much more than developing technical proficiency—it's about nurturing creativity, building discipline, and encouraging personal growth. Through his teaching, he strives to inspire his students not only to become skilled musicians but also to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the transformative power of music. Silas completed his B.M. of Commercial Music: Jazz Studies in May 2025.
